MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Fauzia S. Alkhairy, M.D.
President
USAIM
A Medical Degree is an extraordinary accomplishment that equates with an assured income and an affluent lifestyle. For the privileged of society, a medical education is simply a matter of personal choice. For others, it is often the outcome of a competitive journey from high school through medical school. But, competition is not the only challenge encountered by highly qualified applicants; unnecessarily rigid academic requirements, and stringent selection processes have historically created and concealed barriers to obtaining medical degrees.
The mission of USAIM is based upon the philosophy that the education of healthcare professionals is a vocation, and requires a total commitment of the administration, the faculty, and the students. The mission and goals of USAIM are likened to two sides of a coin; when separated each side is valueless; when linked together the complementary components form the core of the institution.
The mission of USAIM is to produce doctors equipped with the basic knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat and prevent common ailments in the community.
The goals of USAIM is to provide the highest quality of healthcare education through an innovative curriculum designed to transform arduous students into competent doctors and health care professionals, with the intellectual and technical expertise necessary for the practice of their degree in the public and private sectors, and with the skills essential for enhancing and improving existing healthcare delivery systems; to instill in each graduate a desire to pursue a lifetime of growth within the healthcareprofession; and to promote the highest ideals of health promotion and disease prevention.
